On Monday, 31 August 2026, FC Jurong Chairman Daisuke Korenaga attended the Vellore International School U-16 Football Tournament, organised by The Hindu in Chennai, India, as Chief Guest.

The day featured a speech by Chairman Korenaga to the participating players, as well as a kick-off ceremony.

Hundreds of children gathered at the venue, and despite the intense heat, the players gave their all on the pitch. It was a day filled with meaningful exchange through football.
