Kankyo Giken Co., Ltd. has been committed to “protecting the safety and deliciousness of food” since its establishment in 1996. The company plans, develops and sells grain and food preservation technologies and related products, including refrigerated storage units for brown rice.In recent years, the company has focused on the manufacturing and sales of “Kome Guard,” its proprietary long-term rice storage solution designed to preserve rice—Japan’s staple food—in optimal condition for extended periods. The product is distributed nationwide through home improvement stores, agricultural cooperatives and e-commerce platforms.
Drawing on the preservation technologies it has developed over the years, Kankyo Giken aims to deliver technologies that protect Japanese food not only across Japan, but also around the world.
